The National Trial Lawyers is a professional organization reserved solely for civil plaintiff trial lawyers and criminal defense trial lawyers who are seen as leaders in their practice and communities. Top 100 Civil Trial Plaintiff Lawyers are a subset of the larger organization that is used to highlight civil trial plaintiff lawyers who are believed to be among the “best of the best.” As the name implies, only 100 such attorneys can be invited for this membership at a time.
Choosing a new member for The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 – Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers list is a multiphase process. It begins with peer nominations and objective evaluations of an attorney’s abilities, reputation, influence, and qualifications. The National Trial Lawyers works diligently to narrow down nominees and potential invitees until only 100 remain. All members of The National Trial Lawyers, whether they are a “Top 100” member or not, will gain access to advanced legal training and educational programs, as well as networking opportunities. Each member is also expected to embody what it means to be a professional trial lawyer who stands up for the law and the rights of the people.
